Q: What is your capacity?

A: Hooven-Dayton Corporation has a business philosophy of adding presses when we reach 80% of our productions capacity. To illustrate, Hooven-Dayton has added 5 presses in the past 5 years to meet capacity and technology needs. This also speaks to our financial wherewithal and our ownership’s commitment to continuous investment, company improvement and growth.

Q: How many shifts do you run?

A: HDC runs 3 shifts, 5 days a week with some open press capability on 2nd and 3rd shift as well as weekends for added capacity and delivery flexibility.

Q: How many people does HDC employ?

A: HDC has over 70 full time employees and growing. HDC has increased its workforce by over 45% in the past 2 years. Our workforce additions were not just on the production floor, but in critical infrastructural areas such as I.T., Accounting, Sales and Marketing and other strategic areas as our management team has seen the need for future growth.

Q: How do you address technology and innovation?

A: HDC is always looking for new and better ways to bring your product to market. Our Executive Team searches our industry and markets for new technology. We challenge our suppliers to bring us their latest developments and partner with them to further develop innovative solutions to customer's needs.

Q: What is your disaster recovery plan?

A: We have developed partnerships with other printers around the country who have similar capabilities to ours. We maintain backups of all business and art files to ensure nothing will be lost and a quick recovery.

Q: Are those pictures of your plant realistic?

A: They are! Our production personnel all realize that a pristine environment produces a pristine product. This philosophy is only one of the many quality assurance factors that account for our 99% customer retention and less than ½% rejection rate. We invite you to visit us and see for yourself.
